Amazon A+ content: what the modules are for, and what to put in them

Amazon A+ listing content produced by Fix The Subject

A+ Content is the section below the fold on an Amazon listing where a Brand Registered seller replaces the plain bullet list with designed modules. It is one of the few parts of a listing you fully control, and most brands waste it by repeating the gallery images at a larger size.

The modules do different jobs

Treat the set as a short argument rather than a slideshow:

  • Brand story banner. Who makes this and why it exists. One sentence and one image, above everything else.
  • Feature callouts. The parts of the product a photograph alone does not explain — a seam, a coating, a mechanism — annotated directly on the image.
  • Comparison table. Where this sits against your own other models. Buyers use it to talk themselves into the more expensive one.
  • Dimensions and fit. A diagram, not a paragraph. This is the single biggest lever on returns.
  • Lifestyle. The product in use, at the end rather than the beginning, once the case is made.

It is a design job on production assets

A+ is built from photographs you already have. It rarely needs a new shoot; it needs the existing files cut, annotated and laid out to the current module specifications, which Amazon changes more often than most teams track.

What to send

Your product shots, the brand kit, and the copy you want on each module. If you do not have the copy yet, send the product page and the three questions customers ask most — the modules write themselves from there.
