Raster to Vector

Logos and artwork redrawn as clean, scalable vector paths for print production — rebuilt properly rather than auto-traced into a mess of anchor points.

What raster to vector is

Sooner or later someone needs a logo at two metres and the only file anyone can find is a 400-pixel JPEG pulled off a website in 2014. Raster to vector conversion rebuilds that artwork as mathematical paths, so it can be output at any size, on any substrate, without a single soft edge.

The important word is rebuilt. Auto-trace produces something that looks acceptable at screen size and falls apart in production: hundreds of unnecessary anchor points, wobbling curves that should be perfect arcs, corners that are almost but not quite square, and colours sampled from JPEG compression artefacts.

We redraw artwork by hand in Illustrator — true circles as circles, straight lines as straight lines, consistent stroke weights, clean corner points and a sensible layer structure. Type is matched to the correct font where it can be identified, or redrawn as outlines where it cannot.

Who it is for

What we provide

What conversion covers

Logo redraw

Hand-drawn vector paths with clean geometry, correct curves and minimal anchor points.

Typography

Fonts identified and matched where possible, or lettering redrawn as accurate outlines.

Colour separation

Spot and process colours defined properly, with Pantone matching on request.

Production files

AI, EPS, SVG or PDF with layered structure, ready for print, cut or embroidery.

Examples

See this work in context

Vector conversion is judged at production size, not on screen — the difference between a redrawn file and an auto-trace only becomes obvious on a two-metre banner or an embroidery head. Send one logo and we will return the vector file free on a first order, so you can test it at full output size yourself.

Most of what we produce is delivered white-label and published under our clients’ names, so only cleared work appears in the public portfolio. If you need to see something closer to your own sector, ask — we can usually share a relevant example privately, under NDA if you prefer.

Add the spec once. We turn it into a style guide and reuse it on every batch.

03

We edit

Assigned editors work the batch, with an internal QA pass before it leves.

04

Review & delivery

Typically 24–48 hours, in your formats, with revisions included.

Production capability

A short, professional toolchain.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Poorer than you would expect. We regularly work from small, compressed images because that is usually all that survives. The source affects how long the redraw takes rather than whether it is possible — send what you have and we will tell you honestly what can be recovered.

AI, EPS, SVG and print-ready PDF as standard, with layers kept intact. Tell us the production process — offset, screen print, vinyl cut, embroidery — and we will set the file up to suit it.

Typical delivery is 24–48 hours, depending on image quantity, complexity, resolution and quality requirements. Larger catalogue drops are booked into a scheduled slot so you get a committed date rather than an estimate, and rush work can usually be accommodated if you tell us the deadline up front.

Per image, starting from $2.00, adjusted for complexity and volume. Recurring accounts are quoted after a test batch so the rate reflects your actual files rather than an average. Send a representative sample and we will tell you which tier your work falls into before you commit.

The files, the output you need, and any reference. If you have approved finals from a previous shoot, send two or three — we will match those rather than applying our own defaults, and we write what we derive into a style guide reused on every batch that follows.

Yes. If a file did not match the written spec, correcting it is our cost, not a second charge. Revisions are part of the rate.

Need more clarity?

Ask us anything about the work, the process or the commercials — you will get a straight answer from a person, not a sales sequence.

Send ten images. See the raster to vector.

A free trial on your first order, no card required. If the output isn’t at your standard, you owe us nothing.
